What type of yoga do you teach?

I have taught a vinyasa style of yoga for many years and my teaching is still influenced by this. In class we work through sequences of postures which are linked by flowing movements synchronised with the breath. The emphasis is on linking the breath to the movements of the body and through this 'moving meditation' achieving a deep sense of relaxation, rejuvenation and wellbeing.

Which class is suitable for me?

It is always best to start in the beginners class and work up from there as all teachers have a different way of teaching, however if you have been practicing for some time and feel that this class would not be suitable then contact me directly to discuss this.

If you are pregnant then only the 'Yoga for Pregnancy' class is suitable.

If you are newly postnatal then only the 'Postnatal Recovery and Baby Yoga' class is suitable for you. If your baby is older than 6 months and you feel fit and healthy then you can join the beginners' class.

Do I have to book for the classes?

Yes all my classes are run as courses and need to be booked in advance.

What do I wear?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable moving in. This is particularly important if you are pregnant!

Do I need to bring a mat?

No, you can borrow a mat.
